Sweet American Boy (Vinyl)

Sweet American Boy finds honestav at a turning point. Written during and after a year spent touring across the world, the 16-track album expands the raw honesty that built his audience while pushing his sound into new territory.

Alongside the folk, hip-hop, and alternative influences that have defined his music, songs like Cant Let Go, Storm In This House, and Crash First embrace a bigger, rock-driven energy that reflects both the chaos and growth of the past year.

Across the album, honestav wrestles with the weight of family history, addiction, grief, love, and the complicated reality of achieving the dreams he once chased. Whether reflecting on a turbulent childhood, the pressures of life on the road, or the fear of becoming the very things he spent his life trying to outrun, Sweet American Boy captures an artist caught between where he came from and where success is taking him.

At its core, the album is a deeply personal portrait of a young man searching for peace while confronting the cycles that shaped him. It’s honestav at his most vulnerable, self-aware, and ambitious an evolution of his signature storytelling that feels larger, louder, and more unfiltered than ever before.
