Its vertical 18MP 1" sensor delivers 3:4 stills and video, ideal for storytelling and social-ready vertical content. The fixed 10.8mm f/2.8 lens (32mm equivalent) offers a wide, everyday field of view, supported by manual aperture and focus rings. Film Camera Mode limits you to a single Film Simulation and a roll of 36, 54, or 72 images, viewable only after digital “development,” encouraging intentional shooting. The secondary sub-LCD mimics a film window, letting you switch between 13 Film Simulations and apply 26 filters, including Light Leak and Halation. With the 2-in-1 mode, two sequential frames are combined into a diptych. A Frame Advance Lever, optical window viewfinder, and no live preview complete the film-style experience. USB-C connectivity, built-in mic, wireless sharing, and app integration make the X half suited for creators who value physical process as much as digital output.
